Dallas loses (cause i think there playing the redskins and will pull a Mavericks even though im a die hard Cowboy fan however if they do get past the first round they could win it all it all hangs on the first game imo)

Dallas will end up playing the Redskins if the predictions fall through...and seeing what happened last week...I think Dallas will have a hard time. Better hope those Seahawks prevail. But then again. Seattle beat Dallas last year, all because Tony Romo choked big time.

Buccaneers over Giants - Eli isn't good yet to win a playoff game where the other team has Jeff Garcia

Chargers over Titans - Titans have a boring offense, and injured one too
Steelers and Jaguars - They may have lost in the regular season but Steelers seem like the better team this time around. Jags wont be able to run the ball.

Overall, I think either Packers or Colts win. Patriots have been showing alot of weakness in the pass month and I think either Colts or Packers can knock them out.

Packers are a very meh team...

It doesn't seem like it.
Brett is playing as good as he can play at age 38.
They finally have a defense and their running game has improved. It wasn't their at the start of the season but by week 10 and after they could run the ball.

Brett sucks hard in the cold...HARD. I've seen how bad he is...look at week 16. He got killed by the 28th defense in the league. Packers have a lot of weaknesses.

I HOPE PATRIOTS GET KNOCKED OUT 1ST GAME THEY PLAY.

and i hope packers win the superbowl and farve announces retirement, the best way to end his career, just like elway.

There go the Redskins, the win for Seattle was more or less of a fluke. If Suisham would of made a easy 30 yard chip shot, the game would have been Washington's with a 4 point lead. I think that's the biggest part of the game right there.

Such a shame the redskins lost.

I think the 3 touchdowns Seattle scored after that missed FG would have probably covered those 4 points

It's a momentum thing, the whole momentum of the game swung right there. It's much different to be up 1 than 4. A field goal wouldn't of been enough for Seattle had the field goal been made, they needed a touchdown. I don't know about you. But having the pressure of scoring a touchdown is much more harsh than the pressure of kicking a field goal. And two of those 3 touchdowns didn't count for anything at all, they were literally meaningless at those points of the game. Collins played bad at vital points, otherwise he wasn't too bad. Running game was also a problem for the skins, Portis never got going.

Wow, Pittsburgh just caught a HUGE break... Heinz Ward was pulling that guy's face mask and pulling his jersey, but they called PI the other way... On 4th down, no less...

If Pittsburgh wins it's game, it's gonna be a sham...

o yea I wasnt finished, So I think that in some odd performed miracle, the ghost of Sean Taylor purposely made the Redskins win last weeks game by 21, but to only be disappointed by taking vengeance on his own team from his grave by making them lose the next game by 21 which sadly knocked them out of the playoffs

That was a great game tonight. I like Del Rio, so I was pulling for the Jags. Jone-Drew....how can you not like him...and why the hell was Taylor carrying the ball in the second half more?

Jones-drew needs to be a feature back and he will be putting up Westbrook numbers. Write that down.

The only time he ever produces in huge quantities, is when Donovan get injured, and Andy Reed finally starts using him. That's why the Eagles always do better when McNabb is injured... The fact that McNabb ever has 40 attempts is a god-damn joke... I Don't like the iggles, but Westbrook is a beast. Andy Reed is a f*cking fool.

Also, Taylor is still good... I guess they figure letting him get carries keeps Jones-Drew fresh, while still wearing down the D... Hell, Fred's been doing it for 10 years, and nobody has noticed him yet. That's also a joke, but that's just because people are ignorant.

I've been a fan of Taylor for quite a while. Back when he was with Brunell...

Taylor took all of the press about him being fragile to heart and has been a gym freak for the past two years, and guess what? No injuries. Sure it helps splitting time, but he has still not been in the IR for two seasons.

He's still only 31, and has at least two decent seasons left in him.

Is that why the Eagles with McNabb made it to the Superbowl and the ones without never got passed the first round? McNabb is a good QB and he uses Westbrook well as a receiver, it's not like he's not touching the ball at all or something. If he's contributing whether it's run or pass, it doesn't really matter.

giants win with a decent performnce by eli :) (no int :O) and Fred Taylor is a beast was so mad when he didnt make the pro bowl this year. Also i thing drew jones isnt getting as much touches because they know taylor is nearing the end of his carrer and they want to give it to him as long as he doesnt bring them down at least in my opinion

In the NFC I have to take Seattle over Green Bay. I just hope that Hasselbeck won't make the stupid mistake of calling "we want the ball and we'll score" in overtime. Because I have a feeling this game will go down to the wire. Seattle is a team that will stay in any game against a favorable opponent. I also feel that the Packers declined down the stretch of the season. There's also snow expected, so big bad and old Favre will have trouble throwing the ball again. Case also goes for Hasselbeck, but seeing how bad Favre plays in the cold (extreme cold and bad conditions), I can see him throwing a couple of picks. So I'm going with Seattle.

Then for the Cowboys and Giants, it's pretty obvious that Dallas will make the Giants rollover...although if Eli plays well and doesn't go interception-happy, we might have a game. I don't know, Manning's played well the last two weeks against a great NE defense and a very good Tampa defense. But the problem for the Giants is if they can stop Romo and the high powered Big D offense. If TO can play and is back in good form, the Giants CB will be seeing stars...literally. I take Dallas easily.

Now for the AFC...well all want New England to lose (most of us do I hope), but I really think the season will end for the feel-good story of the Jaguars. They barely eclipsed the Steelers last week and if they play the same way against New England...this might be a forgettable game. David Gerrard can't go 9-21 with a pick against New England, there's no room for error here. Plus, the running game needs to seriously pick it up, Jones-Drew and Taylor didn't fare too well last week. When you have a high powered offense facing you, you can't fall behind with a struggling offense. The patriots are the same old same old, no need to discuss anything. Patriots win out-right, unless Del Rio and the Jags pray for a miracle and get their prayers answered.

San Diego barely got passed the Titans last week, LT looked bad running the ball and it won't be much easier against a defense that includes the Defensive player of the year in Bob Sanders. Plus it's the Colts...Peyton broke out of the choke curse last year, don't think he'll re-enter only one year later...This game might be interesting for 3 quarters, but I think the Colts will pull it off for a Patriots and Colts matchup once again (is it just me or are these two teams always playing in the AFC championship game?).

Yes, and do you know who else they had? Terrell Owens... That's the only receiver with a pulse they've had since McNabb got there.

With Westbrook in the backfield, McNabb should be throwing the ball no more than 20-25 times a game...

Westbrook should be averaging 25 carries, and at least 5 receptions a game... His prime is getting wasted on the Eagles.

If you rush him more, defenses will start giving more attention to the run and he won't produce as well. No doubt McNabb's arm give him the benefit of the doubt sometimes on those long runs of his. They feed off each other. I know that isn't your exact point, but if you give them the same amount of attempts and such (25 carries, 25 pass attempts), you might not see too much of a change.

Ever heard of play action? Can't run it if the other team doesn't respect the run, which Eagles opponents don't, because McNabb throws the ball 40-50 times a game.

It all depends on Terrell Owens... If he's good to go, they win...

What's the deal with Terry Glenn? They said he might be ready for the playoffs, about two weeks ago... I haven't heard anything about it since.

McNabb averages 34 attempts a game. Not 40-50. He's an elite QB, might as well let him throw the ball. He's not some nobody that the Eagles just threw out there.

I went 4-0 this weekend on my NFL pool. This week is alot tougher imo

Pats over Jags: I am torn on this one. If one team can beat New England it will be the jags imo. Ultimately, the Jags have yet to beat the Colts and I doubt they will be able to take that next step this year.I expect the Jags to go deep next year, but this is the pats year.

Chargers over Colts: Not real basis. Mainly gut. Chargers have beat Indy in Indy before and beside the Patriots the chargers are the leagues hottest team. Close game but chargers pull it out.

Giants over Cowboys: The Cowboys offense has been horrible the past four games. Unless, T.O. is 100% I expect the trend to continue. Eli is a different qb on the road,(8-1 record) and after watching him 2 wks in a row he seems to be hot right now.

Packers over Seahawks: Simple, home field. Much like the Seahawks home field, the Packers have a huge edge at home.

Assuming these picks hold up I have a Pats/ Packers superbowl with the Pats winning
